Alzheimer's disease is probably one of the worst brain diseases to ever be discovered. Nothing is worse than having to look at your parents with Alzheimer's disease. This heart warming video full of Setsuko Harmon's reactions captured by her pregnant daughter, Christine Stone, every time she tells her mum with Alzheimer’s that she is having a baby.

When Setsuko's daughter, Christine Stone, knew she was pregnant, she wanted to share the fantastic news with her mother. So knowing that she would not remember for a long time decided to record the moment in video and go giving the news periodically, as her pregnancy progresses.


Christine Stone, 38, decided to film her mum Setsuko Harmon’s reactions each time she reminded her of her pregnancy on 10 different occasions over four days.

Despite being afflicted with the memory destroying disease, Setsuko Harmon, the 77-year-old breaks into a huge grin and begins clapping with excitement whenever the news is broken. Invariably Setsuko asks her daughter when the baby us due before telling Christine, ‘I’m so glad’ and giggling with joy.


Mrs Stone said: 'I enjoy telling mum because every time she reacts like a kid at Christmas. 'I can tell her I'm pregnant two minutes after I just told her and she is still surprised. 'My daughter will appreciate this video when she grows up and know my mom was excited for her arrival and was loved.'
